Some videos on Blackberry Storm missing after download those videos into it. To make all videos back, it user activate the Quickpull feature. He recently formatted media card over Vista computer and via BB Storm also. But, the problems was only audio and video disappear. They are not appearing in media card.
To resolve the problem of videos disappear in Blackberry Storm, you can try to do a full battery pull rather than use QuickPull. To make the full battery pull works, better try removing QuickPull for a day or two as there is found that QuickPull interfered with things on the Storm..
Besides it seems of an index corruption as the media application uses indexation to enhance the user experience and sometimes they get corrupted. A violent solution is to delete the indexation file and have the Media application recreate it. To do this you can try this following:
- Use the USB plug
- Browse your media card folders from Windows Explorer and show system & hidden files.
- Delete all the files named BBThumbs.dat (there is at most one in each folder).
- Unplug Blackberry Storm, and open the Media application.
Now you should see the indexation will start. Wait the progression patiently as it can take up to a few hours for people who have thousands of mp3. If your BB OS is 4.5 or later, you will have a progress bar at the bottom of the screen.
