Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010iPhone firmware 2.0.2 Released
Nearly a month after leaving the iPhone 3G inaugurating the new version “2.0″ of its internal system, is already the second update to the device which is proposed today for download. iPhone “2.0.2″ firmware can be downloaded from iTunes or directly from Apple’s servers.
No new feature is rated at only “fixes” had been made as stated Apple when installing the latter. No detailed list of corrections software has been published by Apple but the first mobinautes have installed themselves in charge in his place.
It is thus clear that no new settings on the camera is present while the web browser Safari Mobile becomes slightly faster to use. In addition, time scrolling web pages are faster and less jerky. The lag time associated with the use of its virtual keypad has also been shortened.
The transition on the display of music in portrait or landscape mode (coverflow) has evolved. The software developed the App Store for updates 2.0 or 2.0.1 will continue to operate on the iPod or iPhone Touch 2.0.2. Regarding the sensitivity of the 3G iPhone, no progress appears to have been made. Worse still, some mobinautes found that the iPhone 3G was now less sensitive! Finally, updating “2.0.2″ disables security holes for “hacker” (or “jailbreaker”) terminal for access to reading and writing its internal system.
