i have an o2 xda IIs and i just placed mp3 music files in it. Now i wan to know how i can use those files as my ringtones and alarm sounds.

Browse to the file use file explorer. When file is highlighted, click menu, “use as ring tone”. You are done. Remember, the file will be copied to the windows/rings folder which is on the device memory which is limited. Make sure you do not place too many files there or your mobile will slow down.
